Monique Lindsey is an actor and filmmaker whose work speaks for itself—and whose range, presence, and drive are quickly making her one to watch.

Born in Sacramento to a German/Dutch father and an African-American/Native American mother, Monique brings layered perspective, magnetic presence, and emotional truth to every role she touches. Raised in Elk Grove, she grew up moving between basketball courts, dance studios, and community theater stages—already training for the spotlight before she knew it.

Since making her screen debut in the pilot Fauk My Life, Monique’s trajectory has been anything but ordinary. She’s toured internationally with Pure Praxis Theatre, using performance to challenge sexual assault and retaliation in the military; taught storytelling and performance to incarcerated youth in LA through The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company; and carved out an on-camera presence that’s impossible to ignore.

She’s worked under the direction of Antoine Fuqua, booked a co-star on Apple TV+’s The Morning Show, and starred in Lifetime’s Sins in the Suburbs. With national commercials, acclaimed short films, and a powerful presence that radiates on screen, Monique is already proving she can hold her own with the best—and she’s just getting warmed up.

A graduate of Long Beach State with a degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Film Production, Monique recently wrote, co-directed, and starred in her short film Sion, currently on the festival circuit.

Based in Los Angeles, Monique is building a body of work rooted in purpose, power, and presence. She’s the kind of artist you want on your set—and the kind you’ll want to say you worked with early.
